About Us
Mission & Vision
At the CHVRCH in Newtown Square, we’re more than just a church—we’re a family dedicated to following Jesus and living out His truth. Founded in 1832, our story is one of transformation, hope, and renewal, guided by God’s grace every step of the way
Our mission is simple: make disciples. We believe that biblical disciples walk with Jesus by faith, communicate their faith in Jesus to others, and multiply their faith. Churches grow more mature through the God given means of his Word, table fellowship with God and with one another, and by his Spirit leading us.
We believe that disciples of Jesus are gospel centered the whole of their lives. We don’t just respond once to the gospel, we are continually responding to the gospel, strengthened by the gospel. It’s why and how we walk with Jesus because of the gospel. It is what we communicate to others and why we seek to do that. It’s how we are shaped into a way of living Jesus offers to us.
